Hello, 

Welcome to my website Pictures4Twitchers.

I am Gilly and I live on the beautiful Isle of Wight.

My love of birds, and with spare time on my hands in retirement, it found me to painting again after more than fifty years.

Never do I refer to myself as an artist, I merely paint for the joy of it. However, because of this hobby, I  have amassed a collection of many dozens of paintings and drawings which I now want to share with others of a like mind.

Although 95% of my artwork is birds, I have been known to do the odd landscape or furry creature.

If there is anything you like and feel you would like to buy after browsing through, please feel free to email me or call me for prices and queries.

There is a mixture of acrylic, water colour, gouache and even a few in coloured pens. I like to experiment and have found my favourite medium is gouache. Sometimes on canvas, sometimes on paper or thick cardboard, however the mood takes me.

Naturally I shall be adding to the site over time so do keep an eye out for new additions

PLEASE NOTE PRINTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR MOST OF MY PAINTINGS,& PAINTINGS  ARE READY FRAMED.

THIS YEAR 2023, I WILL HAVE AN EXHIBITION AT THE RYDE LIBRARY FROM 1ST AUGUST FOR ONE MONTH. THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED ON THURSDAYS AND SUNDAYS.
